The BeamNode is a structure that funnels ERN Energy into the Quabeam, turning the Quabeams creeper beams into friendly beams that attack creeper like a Sweeper.
The unit doesn't function until the Quabeam activates, then needs to be told to request ERNs - any ERNs that it requests are destroyed and turned into 'power' that is used once for each beam switched.
